Habersham Bank 2008 Homecoming Celebration
Habersham Bank is pleased to announce that its 2008 Homecoming Celebration headlining act will be none other than Little River Band, best known for such hits as “Lonesome Loser,” “Reminiscing,” “Cool Change,” and “Lady.” Little River Band has been playing its unique style of pop/rock music for over 30 years.
Formed in Australia, Little River Band made their American debut in 1976 with a self-titled album. In 1982 they became the only act to have a top ten US single for six consecutive years. The band has successfully sold more than 25 million records and by 1985 had 16 hit singles.
Habersham Bank will be celebrating the twenty 
third year of its annual, free Homecoming event on Friday, June 27 on the front lawn of the bank’s main branch located at 282 Historical 441 Hwy N. in Cornelia. 2008’s event will kick-off at 7 p.m. with the lively band King Daddy Polecats. The group will precede Little River Band, the night’s featured entertainment. Fireworks will follow at dusk.
